huh. My mom always used to tell me that “the devil was beating his wife” when it was showering but also sunny because it was something her mother used to tell her. I always thought it was really interesting, being from Colorado myself. Guess it’s confirmed as a regional southern thing. She was born and Raised in New Orleans.
